Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS accurately for transactions including sales, upselling, and cash handling.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any questions or concerns.
Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
Handle cashier duties including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end.
Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
Support quick service operations by managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while promoting menu items.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and uphold high standards of hospitality.
Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use in accordance with health regulations.
Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating clearly and supporting colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS is a plus.
Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is advantageous.
Experience with food preparation, cashiering, serving, or kitchen work is highly valued.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in food handling and cleaning duties. Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
