Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
- Oversee inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Utilize Toast systems for efficient cash handling and transaction processing.
- Train and develop staff in food handling procedures, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
- Supervise kitchen management activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage shift schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with the management team on budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
- Conduct interviews for new staff members and participate in the hiring process as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a quick service or fast food environment.
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and fine dining standards.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality management.
- Ability to train staff effectively in various aspects of food service management.
- Experience in supervising teams, conducting performance evaluations, and managing shift operations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
- Previous experience in casual dining, banquet services, catering, or hotel environments is a plus.
