Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
Oversee inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
Utilize Toast systems for efficient cash handling and transaction processing.
Train and develop staff in food handling procedures, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Supervise kitchen management activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage shift schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
Collaborate with the management team on budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
Conduct interviews for new staff members and participate in the hiring process as needed.
Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a quick service or fast food environment.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and fine dining standards.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality management.
Ability to train staff effectively in various aspects of food service management.
Experience in supervising teams, conducting performance evaluations, and managing shift operations.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Previous experience in casual dining, banquet services, catering, or hotel environments is a plus.
