Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality within our quick-service fast food restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Supervise kitchen staff and front-of-house team to maintain high standards of food management and customer satisfaction.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in hospitality management practices.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for efficient transaction processing and reporting.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop strategies for improving sales and enhancing customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food management practices, kitchen operations, and quick-service restaurant dynamics.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation and service is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
