The FedEx Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and material requirements through effectively planning, reporting, and auditing.
Hours: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
Schedule: Monday - Friday
(Weekend OT as needed)
Location: Walton, KY
Core Responsibilities:
- Supports the mission, values and vision of the company.
- Ship FedEx orders at request
- Package orders for shipment
- Process sales orders to maintain inventory accuracy and maximize fill rate
- Process production orders timely and accurately to maintain inventory accuracy as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory for FedEx shipping supplies
- Inventory management: cycle count, audit, license plate, label, pick, transfers, shipments, and coding sales sample charges
- Operate internal operating software to manage inventory, process sales order, and process production orders.
- Operate FedEx order management software to create labeling for all outbound shipments
- Communicate and problem solve with customer service or other departments effectively
- Organize and file necessary documents.
- Pick orders on cherry picker.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Active participation in the LME safety program.
- Abides by all internal policies. This includes GMP, attendance, productivity etc.
- Completes any job related training in the timeframe allotted.
- Maintains a high level of productivity in complying with the position requirements.
- Safe Operation of the Material Handling Equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Flexible work schedule and the ability to work Wednesday thru Sunday with overtime.
- Dependable
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent.
