Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our hospitality operation. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all restaurant functions, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maximize profitability.
- Supervise and train staff on food handling, safety procedures, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service standards.
- Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Conduct interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development to build a motivated team.
- Manage budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes hospitality excellence across casual dining or quick service settings.
- Oversee kitchen operations including food production, culinary standards, and catering or banquet services when applicable.
- Handle customer concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Skills
- Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants with fine dining or casual dining experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols.
- Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, training staff, and developing talent through coaching and mentoring.
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, cash handling, and cost management strategies.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in hospitality management including kitchen management, food handling, catering, bar operations or hotel experience is highly desirable.
