Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our fast-paced, customer-focused restaurant operations. Duties
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff members, including managers, servers, cooks, and support personnel to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts and managing shift changes effectively.
- Implement and monitor food preparation and cooking standards to uphold quality and consistency in all menu offerings.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling procedures.
- Control inventory levels through precise stock management, ordering supplies timely, and minimizing waste.
- Conduct staff training sessions focused on food safety, food handling, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Supervise kitchen management activities including food production, food safety compliance, and kitchen staff performance.
- Oversee budgeting processes, cost control measures, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality management by creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
- Handle customer complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Coordinate catering events or banquet services when applicable to expand revenue streams.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all restaurant areas.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with fine dining or hotel experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and reporting.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training & development as well as interviewing potential team members.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices along with budgeting and cost management capabilities.
- Experience managing multiple shifts efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality.
- Background in hospitality management with a focus on team leadership within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling regulations, and overall food industry best practices.
