Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and team leadership, ensuring that our staff delivers exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in training and developing team members, managing shifts, and contributing to a positive work atmosphere.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Train and develop team members in various roles, including cooking, bartending, and customer service.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with food production to meet demand.
- Utilize Aloha POS for order processing and ensure accurate transactions.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management.
- Oversee catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food production processes is essential.
- Familiarity with QU POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Previous experience in training development is a plus, along with catering experience.
