Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our Ohana - a team player who wants to bring their creative edge to the table. This is a unique position that requires knowledge of both the front and back of house operations of a restaurant. We are looking for someone who has basic knowledge of food prep, operations and customer service. On top of the hourly rate, service employees receive an equal share of tips based on hours worked as well as a monthly bonus based on the overall revenue of the business.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, processing transactions efficiently.
- Assist in food preparation tasks while adhering to food safety guidelines and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for all customers.
- Demonstrate culinary skills when preparing food items, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic math skills are essential for this role.
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
- A passion for the culinary arts or retail operations will be considered an asset.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
