Position Overview
We are seeking friendly and organized Hosts/Hostesses to create a welcoming first impression for our guests. The ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Assist with to-go orders and payment processing when necessary
- Ensure menus are clean and up-to-date
- Assist in maintaining a positive dining atmosphere
- Support other front-of-house staff as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Proficiency in restaurant reservation systems a plus
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
