Duties
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and team cohesion.
- Supervise kitchen activities, including food production, culinary techniques, and maintaining food safety standards.
- Handle POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels through effective inventory management practices to minimize waste and optimize stock.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols across all areas of the restaurant.
- Lead shift management by coordinating staff during busy hours to maintain efficiency and excellent service.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Monitor budget adherence, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, training staff on food handling, customer service, and food safety procedures.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership skills in hospitality or restaurant management roles.
- Proficiency with POS systems for sales transactions and reporting.
- Solid understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food production, service standards, and operational procedures.
- Strong organizational skills for shift management, budgeting, and staff scheduling.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles including budgeting, training & development, and team building.
