We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager – Restaurant Shift Lead and Sandwich Artist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, lead a team of food service professionals, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing training, coaching, and development to enhance performance.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections.
- Support customer service initiatives by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety protocols.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; prior cash handling experience is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing potential team members.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and interact positively with customers.
- Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or restaurant experience is highly preferred; casual dining or fine dining background is a plus.
