Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our kitchen team during the first shift. This role involves food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in a fast-paced, quick service restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests. Prior experience in food service or restaurant operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including taking orders and handling cash transactions
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food handling
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with stocking supplies, managing inventory, and organizing kitchen stations
- Support team members in delivering a seamless dining experience in a quick service environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and professionalism
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous
- Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus
- Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
