Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our kitchen team during the first shift. This role involves food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in a fast-paced, quick service restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests. Prior experience in food service or restaurant operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including taking orders and handling cash transactions
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food handling
Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Assist with stocking supplies, managing inventory, and organizing kitchen stations
Support team members in delivering a seamless dining experience in a quick service environment
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests

Skills

Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
Familiarity with POS systems
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and professionalism
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks during busy periods
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous
Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus
Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
