Duties
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, bar service, and banquet functions.
- Supervise staff performance through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to ensure high standards of customer service and food quality.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, sales reporting, and reconciliation.
- Implement food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet business demands while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Oversee kitchen management tasks, including food production, culinary standards, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain budgetary responsibilities by controlling costs related to labor, supplies, and food procurement.
- Conduct interviews for hiring new team members and participate in the onboarding process to build a skilled workforce.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction remains a top priority.
- Collaborate with culinary teams on menu development, special event planning, and catering services to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, including supervising teams in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
- Strong background in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within hospitality settings.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and supervising diverse teams.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software tools, along with kitchen management practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience working in fine dining or hotel environments is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and certifications required by local health authorities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
