Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic culinary and hospitality team. Duties
- Supervise all food and beverage operations, including kitchen management, bar service, catering, and casual dining sections.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food presentation to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Train and develop staff on food handling, customer service excellence, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and safety procedures.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems; oversee cash handling procedures and reconcile daily sales.
- Coordinate shift management duties, including scheduling staff, supervising team performance, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards; conduct regular staff training on sanitation practices.
- Lead efforts in hiring, interviewing, onboarding new team members, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Monitor customer feedback to improve service quality; resolve guest concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control initiatives, and menu development to boost operational efficiency.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong background in inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in hospitality or restaurant settings; capable of training & developing staff effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming dining experiences for diverse clientele.
- Ability to supervise multiple departments including kitchen operations, bar services (including barista or coffee experience), catering or banquet services.
- Skilled in shift management, budgeting, and operational planning within a hospitality or restaurant context.
- Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety; adept at implementing sanitation standards across all areas of operation.
- Experience in restaurant management roles such as assistant manager or supervisor; strong organizational skills for overseeing daily activities. Pay: $48,711.77 - $70,000.00 per year
