Moes Southwest in Liverpool NY, has an exciting role as Assistant in this fast paced restaurant. The successful candidate will lead with the General Manager a team of Supervisors and regular crew members to the complete successful operations of the restaurant. Taking complete control of day-to-day operations.
Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management and adherence to company standards.
- Must have your own reliable transportation to get back and forth to work.
- Must support area restaurants if requested.
- Must be able to work Closing shifts and weekends.
- Must be able to work at least 1 opening shift. With responsibility of opening the restaurant from start.
- The Assistant Manager takes control with the GM of the physical aspect of the restaurant. Seeing to every detail of cleanliness, sanitation and HACCP standards of ALL areas.
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to enhance performance and customer satisfaction
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with items as assigned: Produce deliveries and reg truck orders.
- Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Assist with interviewing potential team members and participate in staff hiring to build a strong, capable team
- Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a focus on food service management and team supervision
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising staff, training new employees, and managing shifts effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations applicable to the food industry
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in casual dining or quick service settings is highly desirable.
- High School diploma or GED a MUST!!
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or management role, a MUST
Pay: $17.25 per hour
