We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our Restaurant Bar & Grill team to success! Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness standards
- Lead staff training and development to ensure high-quality food handling, customer service, and safety practices
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Oversee cash handling procedures, reconcile registers, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth service during peak hours
- Enforce food safety regulations and hospitality standards to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff
- Support kitchen management by supervising food production, culinary quality, and catering or banquet services when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food industry best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
- Previous experience in fine dining or hotel food service environments is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a high-energy setting
