Duties
- Lead by example during shifts, motivating team members to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food and beverage preparation
- Oversee daily café operations, including managing POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate sales processing and cash handling
- Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and cleanliness standards in food preparation areas
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks, coordinate staff schedules, and ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Assist with training new team members on coffee brewing techniques, POS procedures, and customer service best practices
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and create a welcoming environment for all guests
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, shift reports, and inventory levels to support operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and serving techniques
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a café or food service setting preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and sales transactions

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
