Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Processing Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. Duties

Lead and coordinate daily plant operations, including production management, quality assurance, and maintenance activities to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
Develop and execute production planning strategies utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and MRP tools to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing waste.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and waste reduction techniques to enhance productivity.
Oversee supply chain management and analytics to optimize inventory levels, streamline procurement processes, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Manage cross-functional teams including assembly line workers, maintenance technicians, and quality control personnel to foster a collaborative work environment.
Implement and monitor quality control standards in compliance with industry regulations and company policies to ensure product excellence.
Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues promptly and maintaining plant machinery in optimal condition.
Promote safety protocols across the facility by conducting regular audits, training sessions, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing or food processing environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP systems is highly desirable.
Expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement techniques, and continuous improvement strategies.
Solid understanding of supply chain analytics, supply chain management practices, and operations management principles.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious culture.
Familiarity with quality control standards specific to food processing industries; knowledge of industry regulations is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan production schedules accurately while managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Pay: $155,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
