Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, culinary experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring food quality, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
Train and develop kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills.
Manage daily operations of the kitchen, including shift management and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Utilize POS systems (Aldelo) for cash handling and order processing.
Collaborate with management to create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor food production processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking across various cuisines.
Familiarity with quick service, fast food, casual dining, or fine dining environments is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Experience with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management is essential.
Excellent leadership skills with a track record of training and developing team members.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality management is highly desirable.
