Duties

Assist the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and consistent service delivery
Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and supervision to uphold food safety standards and excellent customer service
Manage inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize food costs
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation at shift end
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining cleanliness, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards
Support staff scheduling, shift management, and interviewing to build a strong team aligned with company values
Assist in managing food production processes to ensure timely preparation of high-quality menu items in a quick service environment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff, conducting training & development sessions, and managing team performance
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly
Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and food industry regulations
Ability to manage shift operations effectively in a casual dining or hospitality environment
Previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience preferred; strong organizational skills are essential

Pay: $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
