Duties
- Assist the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and consistent service delivery
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and supervision to uphold food safety standards and excellent customer service
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize food costs
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation at shift end
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining cleanliness, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards
- Support staff scheduling, shift management, and interviewing to build a strong team aligned with company values
- Assist in managing food production processes to ensure timely preparation of high-quality menu items in a quick service environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff, conducting training & development sessions, and managing team performance
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and food industry regulations
- Ability to manage shift operations effectively in a casual dining or hospitality environment
- Previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience preferred; strong organizational skills are essential

Pay: $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
