Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Entertain and educate customers about Mead and our brand
Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring a memorable experience
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with basic math proficiency
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed

Experience

Previous restaurant experience in a food service environment is preferred
Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking across serving, bussing, and guest interactions
Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not required
Strong communication skills combined with basic math abilities for accurate cashiering and transaction processing
Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to teamwork are required
