Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year (Base during training; transitioning to Draw + Commission)

The Role
Jonny Almond Nut Company is an established snack manufacturer looking for a Business Development Representative to join our small, high-energy sales team. We provide the creative vision and the product; you provide the hunting and the structure.
In this role, you aren’t on an island—you are a vital part of a small team working to take our brand into major national Grocery, Convenience, and Hardware chains. We need someone who loves the detail work of building schedules, organizing a CRM, and following through on every lead until the deal is closed.
What You’ll Do
- Team Collaboration: Work within our small sales team to turn creative outreach ideas into a reality.
- The Hunt: Identify the right category managers and execute 10–20 professional outreaches daily.
- The Details: Manage the nitty-gritty—CRM data entry, sales reporting, and follow-up calendars.
- Presentations: Develop and deliver polished PowerPoint decks for buyer meetings.
- Trade Shows: Join the team at 10–15 shows per year to represent the brand (includes travel and booth setup).
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ Years of B2B Sales: Proven history of closing deals, ideally in the retail/wholesale space.
- Team Player: You enjoy working as part of a small group but are disciplined enough to manage your own daily tasks.
- Meticulously Organized: You love structure and never let a lead fall through the cracks.
- Software Skills: Expert in PowerPoint, CRM systems, Excel, and Word.
