Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Food Preparation and Production Associate to join our onigiri production. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products. This position offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adhering strictly to food safety standards.The Food Preparation and Production Associate will be responsible for supporting various stages of food processing, packaging, and sanitation to maintain operational excellence and product integrity.
Duties
- Operate and monitor food production equipment in compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP standards.
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and packaging of food products while maintaining strict sanitation protocols.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure food safety and product consistency.
- Follow detailed procedures for sanitation and cleanliness to meet industry standards.
- Support the assembly and packaging of finished products, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to resolve minor issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers and process parameters.
- Assist with inventory management, including raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to food processing, machinery operation, and workplace sanitation.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for measurements and quality checks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
