Padel39 (East Austin) is home to two F&B concepts under one roof: CLUB39, which delivers premium sports bar vibes in a stylish yet casual setting with great cocktails, beers, and other beverage offerings, and East 5th Coffee, a neighborhood coffee shop rooted in the East Austin area. Both concepts share a team, a management structure, and an uncompromising standard for treating guests.
We're opening in late April 2026, and we're hiring the team that will set the tone for everything that comes after. Padel39 has locations across Texas, and East Austin is where the bar gets raised.
The AGM – F&B is the operational anchor for the food-and-beverage offerings at Padel39 (East Austin). You'll report directly to the Director of Hospitality & Beverage and own the floor across both CLUB39 and East 5th Coffee - managing the team, upholding the experience, and keeping operations running with precision on every shift.
This role is PM-anchored with a strong weekend presence. You'll own CLUB39's bar environment during peak evening and weekend service, and support East 5th Coffee through shared daytime coverage windows. The right person moves fluidly between a sports bar and a coffee shop without losing the thread of either - because they lead with hospitality, and the rest follows.

Three or more years in a management role at a full-service bar, restaurant, or multi-concept venue
Demonstrated ability to lead hourly teams with consistency and fairness
- - coaching people, not just managing tasks

TABC certification or willingness to obtain prior to opening

Strong operational instincts: scheduling, labor management, reconciliation, and inventory

Experience with POS and scheduling systems (we use Union POS and 7shifts)

Comfortable carrying accountability across two distinct concepts in the same building

Someone who considers hospitality a craft, not a job title

Opening or startup experience is a plus.

Day-to-day leadership of all hourly FOH staff across both concepts

Shift-level coaching, feedback, and accountability

Onboarding and training support in partnership with the GM

Checklists, logbook, and shift documentation

Biweekly scheduling in 7shifts, posted on time, and staffed to model

Daily reconciliation across both concepts

Invoice processing in MarginEdge and period-end inventory support

Facility and equipment oversight - flagging issues before they become problems.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Schedule: Full-time, salaried. PM anchor with strong weekend presence. A specific schedule is set with the Director of Hospitality & Beverage during onboarding.

PTO: Eligible to accrue PTO immediately upon hire, and will accrue two hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked, up to a maximum accrual of 120 hours.
