Overview
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced General Manager - Restaurant to lead our restaurant team to success. This role is all about inspiring staff, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties
- Lead the restaurant team by setting clear goals, providing coaching, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory control and food safety protocols to ensure quality and compliance across all areas.
- Handle POS systems for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling.
- Supervise staff hiring, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Coordinate shift management to ensure optimal staffing levels during busy hours while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Monitor budget adherence, control costs, and implement strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS along with cash handling procedures.
- Experience supervising staff, conducting interviews, training & development initiatives.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus; culinary experience is highly valued.
