Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead Deepwater Grille & The Alley. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring smooth shift transitions, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and efficient kitchen workflows.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members through effective staff training programs and ongoing coaching to foster a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health regulations, and sanitation practices across all areas of the restaurant.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to meet operational goals.
- Coordinate catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to diversify revenue streams.
- Participate in interviewing prospective staff members to build a skilled and dedicated team aligned with our service standards.
- Process Payroll and weekly reporting for senior leadship
Skills
- Extensive experience in food industry management with a strong background in restaurant or quick service & fast food environments.
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or food service management roles.
- Proficiency in POS systems for sales processing and reporting.
- Proficiency in scheduling on platforms such as Hotschedules or Restaurant 365
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and food safety protocols.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Strong kitchen management skills including food handling, food production, and kitchen workflow optimization.
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and cost management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, safety standards, and service excellence.
- Excellent communication skills for team management, interviewing candidates, and liaising with vendors or clients.

Pay: $63,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
