Job Summary

The Meat Cutter is responsible for safely and efficiently cutting, trimming, deboning, and processing beef products according to company specifications, quality standards, and food safety regulations. This role requires precision, attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Cut, trim, debone, and portion beef primal cuts into specified retail and wholesale products.
Operate hand tools and powered cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow production schedules and yield requirements to minimize waste.
Inspect meat for quality, freshness, and defects.
Maintain clean and sanitary work areas in compliance with USDA and OSHA standards.
Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain product traceability and proper labeling.
Assist with packaging, weighing, and boxing as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
