We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at a fine dining restaurant. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations, ensuring high standards of food management, and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the management team in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant.
Manage and train team members, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, including cash handling and transaction processing.
Help create staff schedules, manage inventory levels, and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Support bartending operations when required, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Contribute to marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant within the community.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a leadership role within a restaurant.
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with food management practices and safety regulations.
Proficient in using POS systems; experience with various software is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Must have fine dining experience.
