We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant, bar, and catering operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support staff training and development initiatives, including onboarding new team members and conducting ongoing training sessions on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Monitor inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels across all outlets.
- Supervise shift management duties, including scheduling staff, overseeing food production, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing strategies for revenue growth.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Support kitchen management activities related to food production, culinary standards, and cleanliness.
- Participate in interviewing prospective team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in culinary arts with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams, managing shifts, and training staff effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, budgeting, and cost management strategies.
- Experience in managing restaurant operations including catering, banquet services, bar management, or hotel food & beverage services is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop team members through training & development initiatives.
