Duties

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring smooth shift transitions, and maintaining high standards of service.
Oversee food preparation and kitchen activities to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety regulations.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Train and develop team members in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures to foster a skilled and motivated workforce.
Support management in budgeting, cost control, and implementing promotional initiatives to enhance revenue.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards across all restaurant areas, including food safety protocols and sanitation practices.
Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and culinary standards.
Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing potential team members.
Familiarity with inventory control, food safety regulations, and food industry best practices.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail.
