We are now hiring for a General Manager to lead a team of dedicated sushi professionals!
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. This role requires a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating an outstanding dining experience for our guests. A full understanding of sushi and our requirements to keep food as fresh as possible is a must.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Oversee staff training programs to enhance team performance and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Utilize Toast POS system for efficient order processing and inventory management.
- Monitor food production processes to ensure quality and consistency in every dish served.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth among staff members.
- Ensure a very clean and fresh experience for all guests to enjoy!
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management practices, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and cost management strategies.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Sushi restaurant management experience is highly desired!
- Revolving sushi experience highly desired.
