Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support personnel to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions, efficient seating arrangements, and timely service delivery.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and customer inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Maintain high standards of food handling, safety protocols, cleanliness, and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
- Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with kitchen management for food presentation quality.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Train staff on food preparation basics related to customer service areas, POS operation, and hospitality best practices.
- Assist in budgeting efforts by monitoring labor costs and operational expenses while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Lead staff training programs focused on hospitality excellence, food safety standards, and team development.
- Support hiring processes through interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members.
- Handle customer feedback promptly to resolve issues effectively and enhance guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on front-of-house operations.
- Extensive background in food service management within casual dining or fine dining settings.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a strong emphasis on team leadership and training & development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for daily operations.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures, cash handling protocols, and food safety regulations is required.
- Experience in managing restaurant budgets, shift scheduling, and operational planning is highly desirable.
