Applications EngineerLocated remotely from your home office, you will be working hands-on with our engineering customers in the field and recommending products that fit into their applications for our Data Centers. The primary functions include; providing efficient and accurate pre-sale application and technical support by analyzing and recommending solutions to meet customer's needs; manage daily phone and email activity while providing directions, solutions, and recommendations; effectively communicate product value proposition and product line strategies; review and provide feedback on product literature developed by product line; provide feedback to product marketing and engineering regarding information, cross reference data, renewal parts information, technical drawings, and any other technical documentation.
Location: Remote + 30% Travel
Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000 base salary +10-15% bonus.

Job Description & Overview:- Work directly with internal groups such as Sales, Business Development, Product Line Management and Technical, as well as directly with customers to provide services and infrastructure support to data centers in this growing market.
- Research emerging technology/applications in the data center market to help ensure the company is staying ahead of market trends.
- Providing engineering support to customers and clients in the proper application and selection data center products in our Industrial Replacement Market.
- Customers will include Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) contractors to determine application requirements, selecting components, and making recommendations to meet system requirements for data centers.
- Present technical material and collaborate directly with internal/external customers.
- Cross functional teams include North American Field Sales, Product Line Managers, and Marketing teams to achieve organizational success.
Qualifications Seeking: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM, or similar field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience in data center cooling or thermal management systems.
- Experience in HVAC or MEP industry is a plus.
- Knowledge and application of engineering disciplines with a focus on Mechanical, Thermodynamics, or Fluid Power systems is preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to manage customer personalities effectively.
- Hands-on environment working face-to-face with customers, engineers, sales, and marketing teams.
- Problem-solving, communication skills, written and verbal skills - coupled with the ability to maintain and generate product application literature, media, and technical articles.
- Ability to travel to customers, plants and conferences as required.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize resources and project timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
